Childcare help whilst on JSA
Hello there
I just need some advice and hope you can help. I have a seven year old child and currently claiming JSA. I will start training whilst on JSA for 15 hours per week. In order to attend training my child will have to attend Breakfast Club and After School Club which works out quite expensive. I want to work but it will be difficult if I do not complete my training, to enable me to do so.
Am I entitled to childcare assistance whilst on JSA?

Your best bet would be to speak to your advisor at the Job Centre. You can explain that you cannot do this training without some help. Good luck!
