'Moving On' Support Group for Widows & Widowers - Herefordshire

Moving On is a self-help friendship and support group for recent and long-term widows and widowers living in Herefordshire. There is no membership fee and no age limit.

In Moving On we hope:

  • To enable widows and widowers to meet up regularly as a group.
  • To offer the opportunity to make new friends who can laugh and cry together without feeling embarrassed or awkward.
  • To meet up with people with similar interests and be able to do things in twos or small groups.
  • To get to know new people well enough to feel safe inviting them into our homes, in the hope that we can get balance, warmth and some normality back into our lives.
