The City Apprentice course targets people living close to the City of London. Open to residents from the London Boroughs of Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Southwark, the course offers six months support and training and is aimed at people who have been out of work for a long time, it prepares them for financially-based employment in the City.
Key to the course is the dedicated support and coaching, helping you:
Increase your Financial awareness
Increase City awareness
Develop work experience
Meet City Employers
Identify potential jobs and future employment
City Apprentice is available to people from all communities and age groups. It is ideal for people with physical or mental health conditions or parental responsibilities, who want to increase their financial independence.
The City Apprentice project is London Development Agency (LDA)/European Social Fund (ESF) funded, delivered by Training for Life, to get economically inactive individuals from disadvantaged areas started on the journey into employment
