Northern Initiative on Women and Eating (NIWE) - Newcastle-upon-tyne

NIWE eating distress service aims to provide support to all those in North East England whose lives are affected by eating distress, or eating disorders. Services include:

  • telephone help line
  • group support
  • introductory meetings
  • information and training

We also work to increase knowledge and awareness of eating distress and its effects.

We run a carers group which runs every second Thursday of the Month at Newcastle Carers Centre 10:30 -12.30.
