A. B. Mediation

 A. B. Mediation offer mediation services for family, divorce, residence, co-habitation, child contact and financial. Offices in Nottingham, Mansfield, Worksop, Newark, Retford, Chesterfield, Ilkeston, Derby, Lincoln and Leicester.

Ajani Women and Girls Centre

Provides a wide range of leisure and support services to women and girls of African, African Caribbean, and dual heritage descent. Services include Braunstone After School Plus Club, Playgroup, Complimentary School, Youth Club, Dance and Drama, Summer holiday scheme as well as accredited training programmes in arts, crafts, language, literacy and IT.

Arabesque - Arabic Women Group

Provides opportunities for Arabic speaking women, refugees and residents in Derby to meet on a regular basis for mutual support. Enables members to share their skills and knowledge and attend training courses. To enable parents to support their children with education and help women to build new friendships. A self help group meets at the Big Building, Surestart Rosehill, 17-19 Lowerdale Road every Friday from 1.00pm-3.00pm. Telephone - 01332 715689.  A creche is provided during courses, courses are free.

Asian Advisory Service

Provides services for minority ethnic communities in the inner city of Derby. Services include: general help with welfare rights, immigration, health, debt, housing and education. Has a drop in centre, arranges cultural events and social trips. Also has a volunteering project and after school project which provides support to parents and children in homework.
