“Mao’s Last Dancer” - Film at

Village Screen Film Event in association with Creative Arts East –“Mao’s Last Dancer” showing at 7.30 p.m.  

This is a biographical film about Li Cunxin, an 11 year old boy from Shandong Province in China, sent by government officials to Beijing to audition for a place in Madame Mao’s Dance Academy. It follows his arduous training and then career with Chinese and American Ballet companies.

Tickets costing £4.00 in advance will be available nearer the time. Any profit made will be for Village Hall Funds.
