Fun weekly activities now flourishing include Stay’n’Play for parents and toddlers; Tot Stars, a music and rhyme group; and Bilingual Babies, a group for families who speak more than one language at home. A teen to 24 group for young parents and Bumps to Birth, an ante and postnatal group, as well as courses for parents looking to brush up on their skills, with a crèche provided on site.

Avenue out of school club runs a holiday play scheme during each of the school holidays, including half term holidays, summer holidays and INSET days. The play scheme operates in the same premises as morning and after school club and is staffed by regular club staff making the holiday provision friendly and familiar to children attending after school club. We also warmly welcome other schools to attend our play-schemes.  Children aged 4-12 are able to attend holiday club.

Credit unions are financial co-operatives owned and controlled by their members. They offer savings and great value loans plus they are local, ethical and know what their members want. Each credit union has a "Common Bond" which determines who can become a member of the credit union. The common bond for Bedford Credit Union relates to people living or working in the area. The members save regularly and create a fund to make loans to each other. The Credit Union offers a basic financial service to its members.

Services for families with special needs across the whole of Norfolk.

Services include mentoring schemes and homes for children, assessment centres for families in crisis, holidays and short break care for children and adults with learning disabilities, mental health services for women and day support for adults with learning disabilities.

Also provides volunteering opportunities such as admin and working in the Break shops.
