Family centre offering Play schemes for 4-11 year olds during the school holidays.      Parenting  and counselling service for adults. IT training is offered in the IT suite.
Families with  children under the age of 5, and who are living in temporary or inadequate accommodation can use the facilities which include: Kitchen, IT suite, laundry. There is support for housing advice and benefits advice. There are various classes for users and a creche is available..

Home Link introduces children with special needs and their families to a volunteer who can help care for the child for short periods of time. Support is also offered for the rest of the family. Respite care for the child can be arranged as can trips and days out.   Fortnightly Saturday club for children with disabilities and their siblings aged up to 12.
Training & educational courses for disadvantaged families & individuals, including lone parents, unemployed people, refugees & asylum seekers,  low income families, people receiving means tested benefits. Adult learning, family learning, social & life skills education for young people. ESOL, literacy, numeracy & computer skills training. Advocacy & welfare services. Nursery.
Furniture Aid supplies affordable second-hand domestic furniture and other household items in good working order. Clients are referred via various organisations, such as social services and charities and should be in receipt of low income or social benefits.

The Green Man Skills Zone is a flagship project of the Lambeth Working campaign. The campaign helps residents who are out of work to get a job or improve their skills by raising awareness of the services that are available  in the borough to support them.  The centre will offer a range of co-located services; which will include the following;

We operate different skills programmes in different places, but they are all about motivation and changing lives. Often our programmes are linked to improving the local environment or growing new skills for a greener economy.

The mission of Hounslow Muslim Women's Association is to primarily improve the lives of vulnerable Muslim women and children. We focus on education as a mean to achieve economic independence and self-reliance. Our programs support women of all ages and their children.  

When was the last time you had time for you. Mummy me time is a social group based in the London area that was created for single mums. Mummy me time purposes that once a month mummy you enjoy an evening of fun and appreciation that you give to your children every day.

Every month something different cinema, dinner, theatre, comedy shows, casual drinks at a sophisticated wine bar.

The Royal Wanstead Children’s Foundation helps vulnerable children of single parents (or other carers) whose scope for normal happy development is prejudiced by chronic problems in the home. They work with other charities to provide the funding to place these children in boarding schools on a weekly or termly basis.

The Science Museum was founded in 1857 with objects shown at the Great Exhibition held in the Crystal Palace. Today the Museum is world renowned for its historic collections, awe-inspiring galleries and inspirational exhibitions. There are many thousands of objects in the collection, from aircraft to microchips. On the first Saturday of every month there will be a British Sign Language interpreter at some of the free family events.  

Lots of people in the Clapham Park area are out of work at the moment, so we’ve set up various schemes to help them find a job. Our Shop for Jobs and Volunteering projects help local unemployed residents to:

The Outreach & Family Support Team Lambeth is a programme aimed at improving the quality of life of young children, from the age of 0 – 5 years in the South East and South West of Lambeth, with parents over 25 years of age.

The Team can offer you:

Practical support, help and reassurance to parents/carers bringing up young children. Information and advice on bringing up your child(ren) to improve their health, educational opportunities and well-being, ways to help you recognise and manage stress during times

Holiday and after school childcare in the borough of Wandsworth.

Holiday playcentres operate every holiday except christmas and are for children aged 3 to 13yrs.  The centres open 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
Costs are £18 per child per day or £75 per child per week. Discounts available for families of three children or more and for families in reciept of income support or job seekers allowance.
