Greenwich Connections is a local voluntary organisation working for children, parents and carers, especially parents who are under stress and children in need. Services that help identify and meet the needs of families include: parenting groups, childcare and young carers service, advice and counselling service, holiday play scheme, activity days for young carers, fun with kids and a mini gym. Greenwich Connections accept referals from individuals or from professionals
Greenwich Toy & Leisure Library Association is a toy library for children with special needs  and their families / carers.

Without people in meaningful work, communities cannot function. We help people to retrain, gain confidence and gain valuable work experience. From structured volunteering to formal placements with employers, we help people move on a journey towards employment.

We operate different skills programmes in different places, but they are all about motivation and changing lives. Often our programmes are linked to improving the local environment or growing new skills for a greener economy.

Aquarium, showing environments and ecosystems from British Pond Life, Rockpools, Fijian Coral Reefs, to Mangrove Swamps and  South American Rainforests. Creatures from across the world include jellyfish, seahorses and tropical monkey frogs amongst others. Open everyday except 24th - 26th December. Admission is free.

The If... day nursery is based within the Beormund Community Centre. 

The nursery is open Monday to Friday from 9am till 4pm. We close for 2 weeks at Easter and Christmas and 3 weeks over the summer holiday.

Children have access to a safe enclosed outdoor area and are encourage freeflow supervised access wherever possible. All areas of the curriculum are offered outdoors.

Lewisham’s Young Fathers project was created to help local young fathers acknowledge the importance of being a dad; and develop self-confidence as people and as fathers.

The Young Fathers’ Worker aims to provide young men with a broad package of advice and support as required. This support includes mediation work with families, sex and relationship education, parenting skills, and other advice as required by individuals to help improve the outcomes with their children.

When was the last time you had time for you. Mummy me time is a social group based in the London area that was created for single mums. Mummy me time purposes that once a month mummy you enjoy an evening of fun and appreciation that you give to your children every day.

Every month something different cinema, dinner, theatre, comedy shows, casual drinks at a sophisticated wine bar.

The NCT (also known as the National Childbirth Trust) is UK's leading charity for parents. Every year we support thousands of people through the incredible life changing experience of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.

Newpin offers support to the carers of children aged under 5 in the Greenwich and Lewisham areas. There is a sitting room with free tea and coffee for the adults and and a playroom run by a childcare worker The centre will provide general support, with workshops in parent/child relationships and opportunities for creative play.

Parenting can be extremely rewarding but can also have its challenges. When children reach adolescence these challenges can be magnified and parenting skills tested.

We will listen, offer support and provide information and advice if appropriate. We offer confidential sessions and run weekly drop-in sessions for parents and carers to meet in a relaxed environment with others facing similar challenges.

Squirrels Educare, offer a wide range of childcare activities for children aged 2 years 9 months to 11 years.

 Pre-school   Caters for children aged 2 years 9 months until they go to full time school.  Variety of timings available between 9:00am and 3:00pm during Hampshire School Term Times.
