Arachne Greek Cypriot Women’s Group is a voluntary organisation and registered charity which established in 1984. Arachne aims to improve the quality of life and well being of Greek Cypriot and Greek women and their families. It does so by providing drop-in advice and information sessions, adult education classes, employment and training, health and youth programs and recreational/cultural activities. We also encourage women’s active participation in determining policies that affect their lives.

A centre for Bangladeshi women and women from other minority ethnic communities. Provides advice on benefits, housing, training, education, childcare, racial harassment, immigration and domestic violence. It also provides individual and couple counselling, training for unemployed women, work placement scheme, Saturday school, ESOL classes, adult education, Bengali classes, crèche, cultural events and under 5's playgroup.

We are a small charity supporting lone parents and their children in the London Borough of Barnet by providing services to improve financial inclusion and resuce isolation.

The City Apprentice course targets people living close to the City of London. Elfrida Rathbone Camden is a charity which provides a range of free services to people with learning difficulties, disabilities and families under stress.

Provides community based, accessible services the community. Offer free and confidential information and advice on learning opportunities and career choices for adults. Accredited courses: ESOL classes (all levels), English for Office Skills, ESOL Citizenship, Community Health course, Information Technology (IT), Adult literacy and numeracy, Health and Social Care, Leisure and Tourism and NVQ in Childcare.

Freightliners is a small farm in Islington for local individuals and groups to learn from and interact with the environment and each other through animal care, horticulture and sustainable practices.  It's purpose is to provide an fun and learning for all. There are pigs and goats, lambs, honey bees and chicks, as well as gardens with fruit trees and herbs.

Without people in meaningful work, communities cannot function. We help people to retrain, gain confidence and gain valuable work experience. From structured volunteering to formal placements with employers, we help people move on a journey towards employment.

We operate different skills programmes in different places, but they are all about motivation and changing lives. Often our programmes are linked to improving the local environment or growing new skills for a greener economy.

Haringey Chinese Centre aims to promote and develop social, educational, cultural and welfare services to meet the needs of the Chinese community, to help them in improving their quality of life, and to assist their integration into the wider community by working in partnership with Haringey Council and other local communities.

Haringey Families provides activities, events and services for the families who live in or around Haringey in North London. 

HARTS for Families is a free service for families who live in Haringey. The service works with up to 658 families at any one time providing advice and support around issues such as housing, benefits, accessing other services, education, training and employment. Emotional and practical support is also offered where there are domestic violence issues, problems with mental health, substance dependency, and child welfare concerns.

Aims to help children to develop a positive attitude towards life. Organises workshops, providing children with the opportunity to develop their creativity, interests and skills and develop their ability to communicate and empathise with others.

The Centre has its own IT facilities and every term offers free courses to suit all levels, ages and interest. Runs a number of classes aimed at lone parents. A busy and diverse arts venue based in Highgate which aims to enrich individuals and develop stronger communities through participation in the arts. Services currently delivered are classes and courses, after school and parents and toddler clubs.

Aims to empower families living with a disability to overcome their social isolation and access the services they need. Provides support, activities and a common meeting ground for families who have a person with learning, physical and/or sensory disabilities to share experiences and support each other.

Maternity Action works to end inequality and promote the health and well-being of all pregnant women and their families

Help for mothers to be better prepared to raise their children; to support, guide and listen to women. The project provides a range of services that help them deal with health issues, family problems, education training, male dependency, drugs and teenage pregnancy.

When was the last time you had time for you. Mummy me time is a social group based in the London area that was created for single mums. Mummy me time purposes that once a month mummy you enjoy an evening of fun and appreciation that you give to your children every day.

Parent Abuse and Reconciliation Service (PAARS) is an organisation which supports parents who are being physically, emotionally or financially abused by their adolescent child.  We aim to rebuild family relationships which in turn will benefit all family members. 

We aim to work with parents or any adult that has parental responsibility for the adolescent child.  PAARS will be taking in referrals from Enfield and will also take some referrals from the North London area.  All services will be free for service users.

Offers counselling and support to parents, carers, children and families. Provides a variety of workshops including parenting skills. Offers after-school clubs. English lessons, Turkish lessons and needlework lessons. SPACE (Supporting Parents and Carers/Children Equally).

ReStore Community Project is a charity which recycles and reuses domestic furniture and appliances for the benefit of people in need. We offer safe housing in our refuges across London including specialist support for

Training for Life are a charity that seeks to tackle the enduring issue of unemployment and poverty through an entrepreneurial approach. They work with vulnerable and excluded groups within society; people from diverse backgrounds, who, for a variety of reasons, have faced barriers to work and, consequently, become trapped in poverty. They offer to help achieve through a range of programmes suited to the individual. Wingfield Children's Centre provides a range of support services, parenting support and fun learning activities for families with children from 0-5. The centre also provides activities/services from Canada Villa.

Services include a childminding network, baby massage, stay and play and creche for parents taking part in activities.

Women Like Us is an established service that helps women with children find part time, flexible work in north and central London. We aim to give candidates the confidence and contacts they need to return to work by offering free advice, workshops, career coaching, and links to local jobs. Our career-coaching programme is a mixture of individual 1-1 coaching (on the telephone) and small group coaching sessions, and workshops cover a range of areas such as CV preparation, interview techniques, confidence building and networking.

The Centre is committed to making psychotherapy accessible to women who traditionally do not have equal access to psychotherapy including women from black and ethnic minority communities, refugees, asylum seekers, young women, disabled women and women on low incomes.
