Welcome to the Everyday Assertiveness Course


What is Assertiveness?

Being assertive is about standing up for your needs, feelings, opinions and getting heard.

What will I get out of the course?

By working through the following activities we hope you will get lots of ideas, tips and tools to help you become more assertive and feel able to deal with difficult situations and other people more confidently.

What else will I learn?

You will also learn how to manage your stress and anger levels more easily, practice communication tools and find ways to help you feel more confident and positive. What an opportunity for good things to happen! The course is full of different activities to try out.

How long does the course take?

Since you will need time to practice we recommend that you do the course over approximately 6 weeks, taking one session at a time. This will allow you to put your learning into action and reflect on how well you are doing.
